Third Grade Remote Learning Plans
Illinois schools are closed through the end of the school year. See the links below for the Oakland School third grade suggested activities. We hope these provide your child with some structure and academic practice without causing hardship for your family. Contact me with any questions.

Science
Mystery Science Mini-lessons
Here are some of Doug's mini-lesson (5-15 minutes each) that we haven't watched/discussed in class. His videos answer real student questions using stunning visuals. You can access them here for free!
Experiments & Virtual Field Trips
Try some easy, yet fun experiments at home using items you'll likely find in your kitchen. Check out animal live cams. Or take a field trip to a zoo, aquarium, or historical location.
Physical Education
Need some physical activity? Try GoNoodle Good Energy! We use it daily at school for brain breaks. Look at the CDM's new "Daily Dose of Play" site. Or exercise for 30 minutes every weekday with Joe, a PE teacher in London, England.
Art
Stuck inside? Can't travel? Learn from a pro or take a virtual trip to a museum. Also, check out the coloring sheet Mrs. Geggus designed for us!
